What We Do:
The Bikery is a Cycles of Change, nonprofit, Oakland Community Bike Shop!
We have affordable used bikes for sale, and offer repairs, classes, and community events.
We have a Do-It-Yourself community repair space where you can sign up and use tools to work on your own bike.
We have opportunities for youth to sign up to earn their own bike through our Youth Earn-A-Bike program.
We're committed to making bikes affordable to everybody.
Who We Are:
The Bikery is a collective run by folks of color, focused on leadership from youth, people locally from Oakland and the Bay Area, and women and transgender folks.
We work together with local high school interns and youth volunteers to develop job skills in bike mechanics and experience with a collectively-run business. We are committed to youth empowerment through bicycles.
